Dexory deploys Engineering AI for warehouse robot design

Dexory, a robotics and warehouse data intelligence company, has deployed SimScale’s Engineering AI to support engineering workflows used to design and test autonomous warehouse robots.

Building on its existing use of SimScale’s AI-native cloud simulation platform, Dexory will use Engineering AI to help engineers identify the root cause of structural component failures, explore design variations through simulation and create a searchable engineering knowledge base from previous projects.

AI in engineering workflows

As warehouse robotics adoption grows, engineering teams are working to shorten product development cycles while maintaining performance and reliability. Dexory’s SimScale program reflects the use of AI in engineering processes for designing, simulating and optimizing physical products.

The global warehouse robotics market is projected to reach $117 billion by 2034, up from $14.7 billion in 2024. Manufacturers are evaluating ways to accelerate product development while maintaining engineering quality.

Dexory has deployed Engineering AI to reduce time spent investigating structural component failures by enabling more simulation iterations during design phases. The platform will also automate simulation reporting, making results easier to analyze, compare and share across engineering teams.

The program will allow engineers to run parameter sweeps that test multiple design variables simultaneously and generate comparative results without manual configuration. AI agents will also capture simulation knowledge from previous projects to create a searchable engineering memory, helping teams reuse previous approaches and preserve expertise as the business grows.

The program is intended to help Dexory evaluate where AI agents provide value across engineering workflows and establish practices for future adoption.
